by Chris | August 1, 2009

When you say USO most people will think of the memories Bob Hope created by donating his time and talents to those serving their country overseas. Today the tradition of bringing a bit of the United States to the troops through various talents continues.

This month Celebrities were in Afghanistan to thank troops for their service and sacrifice. The celebrities include actors Bradley Cooper and D.B. Sweeney, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Warrick Dunn, National Football League Hall of Famer Don Shula, and sports commentator and model Leeann Tweeden.

Recent USO tours have featured Robin Williams, Drew Carey, Toby Keith, David Letterman, Charles Barkley, Kid Rock, Jessica Simpson, John Elway, Rascal Flatts, Gary Sinise, Ludacris, James Avery, Tito Puente Jr., Wayne Newton, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, James Gandolfini and Morgan Freeman.

We at Speak Inc would like to thank all those who have served to protect us.
