The life of Alfredo Quiñones-Hermosa, a former illegal immigrant, may sounds like a movie script, but it is no fiction. Twenty years ago, he hopped a border fence from Mexico into the United Stated and became a migrant farm worker. Today, he is a neurosurgeon and professor at John's Hopkins University, and a researcher who is looking for a breakthrough in the treatment of brain cancer.
Now, readers can experience his journey from migrant farm worker to to brain surgeon. His book, Becoming Dr. Q, is due out October 1, 2011 and will be available in bookstores and online.
Dr. Q shares his story with audiences worldwide. Contact us for details.
