2010 Olympics

by Chris | February 11, 2010

The 2010 Winter Olympics begin tomorrow and the weather is not cooperating. Today a training session at Whistler was called off due to fog, officials have been trucking snow to Cypress Mountain; the site of freestyle and snowboarding, and the rain has not stopped falling.

For the first time, the Olympics opening ceremony is going to be indoors. This may be a good thing, considering the recent weather conditions. Bob Costas and Matt Lauer will again host the ceremonies.

As the world counts down to the Vancouver Games, many meeting professionals are looking to bring the excitement of the Olympics to their events.  Olympic speakers who have excelled in their respective sports, as well as in business can motivate your attendees to achieve success in the workplace.

Following is a sample of the many Olympians who can inspire and entertain your audience while addressing topics such as teamwork, goal-setting and adversity:

Vince Poscente

Mike Eruzione

Jim Shea

Ruben Gonzalez

Peter Vidmar

Scott Hamilton
