Last weekend was the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.  The association holds this annual dinner to raise money for WHCA Scholarships and to honor the professional recipients of the WHCA's Journalism Awards.

The event draws journalists, celebrities and politicians.  Those attending included:  Jon Bon Jovi, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Tyra Banks, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Bacon, Mariska Hargitay and Sting, to name a few. Also attending was Richard Phillips, who was held hostage by Somali pirates after his cargo ship was attacked.

President Obama joked about politicians, the press, his family and himself.  Comedienne Wanda Sykes, the featured entertainment, followed him.
