March Madness – Tribute to Lute Olson

by Chris | March 6, 2009

It’s March and that means Madness will be upon us soon!

Last night, the University of Arizona honored Coach Lute Olson.  Coach Olson, unexpectedly retired in October, at the advise of his doctor, after having a stroke within the previous year.  Lute spent more than 50 years coaching.   He led the Arizona Wildcats to the 1997 National Championship and the NCAA Final Four four times.  The most recent Final Four was in 2001; Arizona lost to the champions, Duke, coached by Mike Krzyzewski.

If you have a team who wants to be winners or you have managers who aspire to be leaders, you may want to consider speakers Rick Pitino or Tom Izzo for your next meeting.
