Lights Out: Earth Hour

by Chris | March 30, 2009

Did you participate in Earth Hour (March 28, 2009)?

Earth Hour is a global event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

Today, many businesses are moving forward to learn more about how environmental pressures, such as climate change, are driving companies to go green.   A speaker on this subject is Andrew Winston, co-author of " Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value, and Build Competitive Advantage.”

For additional information on Andrew Winston or other environmentally conscious business speakers, visit speakinc.com or call 800-677-3324.

Reminder: Earth Day is April 22, 2009
