Larry King Interviewed on Larry King

by Chris | May 21, 2009

On May 19th, Larry King switched chairs with Joy Behar, Regis Philbin and Anderson Cooper.  The interviews were to help promote Larry’s new book, My Remarkable Journey, which hit the bookstands May 20th.

During the interview with Joy Behar, Larry King, Jr., the son Larry did not know he had until he was 33 years old is introduced.  They talk briefly about Larry’s childhood, marriages (including a brief segment with Shawn King, Larry’s current wife) and lifetime experiences.

Next Regis Philbin takes the hosts’ chair.  Their discussion evolves around their parallel careers.  Both were born in New York City during the Depression and pursued careers originally on radio … and look where they are now!

The final interviewer was CNN Anchor, Anderson Cooper.  The two of them conversed about people Larry has interviewed, focusing primarily on prior Presidents: Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George Bush.
